Mollycoddlers carefully screens each of our sitters & nannies.
We conduct a face to face interview, verify references, verify
work experience and run a thorough background check* through
the FBI.
Mollycoddlers' sitters & nannies are fun, loving, interactive
women with CPR/1st Aid certification. All have a minimum of 3
years childcare experience, come from a variety of childcare
backgrounds including teachers, nannies, daycare workers,
mothers, grandmothers, church nursery workers and college
students or graduates with majors in education, child
development, and child psychology.
With "nanny bag" in hand filled with toys, games, books, and
arts and crafts, and creativity, your sitter will arrive ready
to show your child a wonderful time. Your children will have
such a good time with their Mollycoddlers' sitter that they
may just ask you to go out more often!
*Background checks consist of a criminal background investigation
(misdemeanor and felony), sex offender check, DMV history, Social
Security verification and identity verification

Hi, my name is Shanna Kane. In 2000, after more than 15 rewarding years of
working as a nanny, I decided to take my many years of knowledge and experience
working with children and help other busy mommies and daddies find great childcare. I
wanted to create a service that realized how important personalized and attentive
customer service was. So I created Mollycoddlers, a privately owned and operated
nanny and sitting service.
As a mom myself, I know how important it is to have great, worry free childcare. I
wanted to provide a place that busy mommies like me could go to find a loving sitter
that my children would ask for again and again. The sitters had to be exceptional. To
me, an exceptional nanny or sitter is one that is experienced, dependable, creative,
trustworthy, loving, fun, interactive and best of all LOVES children. I look for those
traits in each and every sitter that becomes part of the Mollycoddlers' team.
